Oh My Goodness, I'm Planning a Wedding

I'm yet another of the new kids on the block! I am planning a wedding for September 2009, in Charlottesville, Virginia, in my hometown and what I think is the most beautiful spot in the world. It'll be a destination wedding on my own home turf; everyone is going to come from either Washington, New York, or London (my fiance is British). That's not going to be too logistically difficult, right? Naaaah. Breathe, breathe, breathe.

Like all the other brides, I am thrilled to be part of this community. Planning a wedding is exciting but also quite overwhelming. What needs to be done first? How do I pick out a photographer? When do I need to send the save-the-dates? When am I going to find the time to see the bands? It's so good to know that we're not alone in this Great Wedding Adventure!
