Bridesmaid Dress Alert!
If you were eyeing any J. Crew dresses for bridesmaids gowns, get yourself on over to the J. Crew sale page right now. Lots of the cute late summer and fall styles are on pretty big sale ($160 dress marked down to $80, etc.) and they seem to have lots of sizes left, especially if you're looking for sizes 8, 10 or 12. The color selection is pretty good too!
Also, if you're not familiar, check out J. Crew Aficionado. This blog always has the latest sale information and discount codes. The featured code right now is for free shipping on orders of $100. Perfect if you are ordering multiple dresses.
I've never had the occasion to deal with J. Crew customer service, but I've heard it's pretty good, particularly regarding wedding/special occasion orders. Anyone have any good/bad/ugly experiences to share or advice?

I have ordered bridesmaid dresses from J.Crew on two different occasions. I love the styles and the dresses were very nice, but unfortunately the colors were not what I thought they would be in person, even after ordering a swatch. With that being said, I think the customer service is wonderful and they allow you to return the dresses in the store, so you don't have to pay return shipping.
Miss Lemonade at Weddingbee.com just posted yesterday that she's not having so much luck with JCrews weddings/celebrations customer service.
