The Magic of Excel
I'm sorry I've been out of commission for a few days; I've just moved house and you know how much havoc that wreaks with your life.
Making my life easier, though, is keeping the guest list on Microsoft Excel. It's awesome. We've created a guest database with all their names and addresses, but that's just the beginning. We can keep track of who's coming and who's not, which hotel they're planning to stay in, what kind of food they want (lamb or vegetarian), the gifts they've given us, and whether or not we've sent a thank you note. It's a godsend, and makes keeping track of everything really easy.

another great resource along with excel is google docs. you can upload and share your excel spreadsheets or search for other templates. You can also send out forms that people can fill out and its private and goes only into your database through Google docs. Its such a great feature. I love excel AND I love google docs :)
