Microsoft is offering web hosting and customized domain names through their Microsoft Office Live service. "Microsoft Office Live Basics is the easy way to get started on the Web. If you have always wanted your own Web site, Office Live has just made it easier — much easier."

Microsoft gears this service towards small business owners (however, perhaps it's possible to use if for something like a wedding web site?!). Three versions are available: Office Live Basics, Office Live Essentials, and Office Live Premium.

The best part of Microsoft's offer is that Office Live Basics is entirely free!
