Amphora Bakery...
I am sorry for the lack of posting in the last couple of days, I have been working non stop for the past 72 hours! I am taking a second to relax before bed, so I thought I would catch up here :)
I was trying to think of something to write about, with countless thoughts running through my head ( mainly work related for once!), and Amphora Bakery came to mind. I can't believe I haven't written about them yet, so if I have please forgive me, I am running on 8 hours of sleep for the past 3 days!
With that in mind, if you haven't heard about amphora bakery you need to check them out. This is one resource I actually knew before becoming engaged ( my sweet tooth paid off for something!) Having co-workers who had used them for a corporate event in the past also piqued my interest.
They make lovely cakes, they are also great about if you have a cake you like, you bring in a picture and they will try and re-create what you are looking for. I've also heard that they make great grooms cake.
^ I'm not sure how i feel about the flowers, but the basket weave is done with butter cream frosting, its simple yet a little bit different at the same time.
^ I have always liked round cakes, but I feel the square look here helps a simple cake look a little bit more dramatic.

I liked them a lot too! I think they do the best art work in town...I haven't tasted the cakes though...my favorite of theirs is the blue one second down -
