New Season Trend: Overlay

In general I'd say that most dresses this season are a lot more structured then in the past and I don't think there is as much lace or beading as we've seen previously. Dresses have a cleaner look. That being said there are still some great examples of romantic, soft dresses, with lace and/or embroidery. I've seen it most in overlays...i.e. where there is an underskirt and then an overskirt on top of the bottom skirt. All pictures from theknot.com and brides.com
