Carine's Bridal Atelier

Sorry for the delay in posting, as I'm sure is the same with everyone it's that time of year that work is crazy, personal life is insane and you don't have a free second to even check your personal email :) I got a promotion at work two weeks ago and since then my work load has almost doubled, but I must admit the increase in salary is definitely appreciated while planning a wedding!

Anyways, on that note I want to share with you my second bridal shop experience at Carine's Bridal Atelier in Georgetown.

Upon entering the store it was very nice, more of a boutique feel. We got to look at dresses we liked, and if we liked the dress we put the hanger facing out. It was amazing being surrounded by such beautiful dresses. I tried on a few different dresses and even found one that I really liked. However, it wasn't a feeling of LOVE.

The owner of the store Carine, actually was who worked with me, and I thought that she was really nice, she is actually engaged herself! However, she didn't really help me in picking out the dresses. It was more of I pick the dresses I like and she lets me decide, I know some people love this, but I am not use to shopping for wedding dresses, I do appreciate to have a little guidance.

Overall it was a good experience, not my favorite but not negative by any means. If you are looking for a smaller boutique that still carries couture gowns this is definitely a spot you should check out!

oh i think the more reviews the better even of similar stores. Like you said before, one persons experience could be totally different...and places change over time and with different personel. Plus if there are really good (or really bad) stores it's good to get the word out as much as possible. I like reading about how one persons experience was vs. how mine was.
As a side night...I really wonder what dress Carine will end up picking for her wedding...she has all the choice in the world, so what does a bridal gown store owner pick?
