Height and Comfort?

Many a businesswoman (and Oprah) have praised the Cole Haan line of Nike Air Dress Air shoes. These are dress shoes (heels!) made with the same technology and padding that a Nike Air sneaker is made with. Previously, they really only made shoes that were appropriate for work and not weddings, but that's all changed.

Below is the Cole Haan Nike Air Sari Air Sling . The shoe comes in Ivory Satin, with a satin-covered heel and slender platform. It's 3 3/4 inches so it will definitely provide the height us shorties are craving but it has Nike Air cushioning. The only downside? The asking price of $325. This is consistent with the price of most Cole Haan shoes but it's still a pretty penny to drop on shoes.

I'm going to keep my eye on this one and wait for a sale.

WOW! These are GREAT. I have to check to see if they come in a shorter and more "stout" heel. That's the only style I can wear right now.

I have a pair of Cole Haan nike air boots. They are AWESOME! I ran around DC all day and my feet were still comfortable--this is with a 3.5 inch heel!! Honestly, totally worth it in my opinion. There's nothing worse than aching feet.

I bought these shoes for my upcoming May 10th, 2008 wedding and they are great! I know it's a pretty hefty price tag, but I knew I would be on my feet dancing all night and they made a huge difference with the Nike Air in the bottom. The height was a little tall for me so I took them to a great shoe repair place and had a lift taken off. They were able to remove about a 1/4 inch off the height and made it MUCH more comfortable. A GREAT buy and beautiful shoe!
