I don't want to be Rapunzel anymore!!!

Did you know that pregnancy (combined with the prenatal vitamins that you have to take) can make your hair GORGEOUS and THICK and LONG??? A month ago my hair was limp and dull but recently it's become so much more of what I've been told it would be.

Normally someone might be happy about this but I've about had it with my hair! Now is the time of year when I usually hack it all off (been doing this since college into something that looks like what Katie Holmes is doing) and right now my hair is halfway down my back and it's just about driving me crazy. I pretty much am only wearing it in a ponytail.

I know. An updo for the veil and pearl comb that I'm wearing will be so much easier and maybe even prettier when my hair is long and full and lush. But like the title of this blog says, this long hair is getting to be a little too much of a good thing.

Today I happened to find a lovely picture online of Lucy Liu on some entertainment website that I forget the name of. ET online? Whatever. It doesn't matter. I took a screenshot of it and I want to get my haircut in the way she has it SOOOOOOO BADLY!!!

I have a strapless dress and a elbow length veil and a blusher and a pearl comb that would sit right where the veil sits at the top of my head. Y'think that I could pull it off with this haircut?

I've had my hair cut like this before and it's so classic and pretty. It COULD work for a wedding couldn't it? I mean, it would look really pretty right??

*sigh*

I'm trying to get you to be on my side about this. Obviously.

But seriously, please give me your honest opinion. Because I could just as well get my hair hacked the very next day afterwards. ;-p

with hair, i always say, it's better to have it and not need rather than need or want it and have to but it and put it in, YUCK.
Leave your hair long and "hack" it the day after the wedding. You will have to cut it before the baby arrives anyway as doing hair will no longer be in your schedule. so enjoy it one last time.

When you are pregnant, your hair can be very unpredictable. It's not recommended that you make any drastic changes in style or color while you are pregnant because hormones can cause the hair to react much differently then normal. It's just a cut, not as iffy as a color, but I would suggest waiting until the day after just to be safe.
