The freshman 15

I'll be the first to admit that I looked great when I started college and then gained the freshman 15. There's never really been the time or motivation to get rid of it...until I realized yesterday my wedding is almost exactly 7 months away. If I'm going to do something to turn my keg into a six-pack, I'm going to need to start working hard...and now.

I've always been decent at controlling my weight by diet alone. If I wanted to lose 5 pounds before a vacation, I simply cut out calories here and there by not eating a cupcake or a mid-day snack and only eating until I was satisfied, not completely full. And while I know I will naturally stress myself into doing the same thing for a month or so before the wedding, I don't just want to drop 5 pounds. I want to look the best and sexiest I've ever looked.

That means toned arms, a flat stomach, a tight back (so I can show it off in my dress) and some additional junk in the trunk. I would have to do lunges for a year to look like I belonged in a pair of Apple Bottoms. But gosh darn it, I'm going to give it my best shot.

So I went to Gold's today and signed up for a membership and 6 sessions with a trainer. An insane amount of money later, I'm ready to get a little more of this...

I hear ya on wanting to look your sexy best! I'm trying to lose a bit myself. Just know that he's going to find you beautiful and sexy no matter what, though. So don't kill yourself!:)
Glad you're going to bust a sweat instead of opting for surgery for some minor changes:)
