Cupcake Report: Georgetown Cupcake

This week, a co-worker celebrated her birthday. So, in approrpriate fashion, we picked up some cupcakes! This time, they're from Georgetown Cupcake. First, cute little box: simple but just right. And check out these adorable beauties!
Flavors pictured from left to right:
Top Row: Coconut on Vanilla, Chocolate on Vanilla, Chocolate Sprinkles on Vanilla on Chocolate.
Bottom Row: Chocolate and Peanut Butter Swirl on Chocolate filled with Peanut Butter, Cream Cheese on Red Velvet, and Key Lime.

According to the birthday girl, the cupcakes were (almost) too cute to eat. Her favorite: Vanilla on Vanilla. According to her, "the beset vanilla cupcake I've ever had."
I tried the Red Velvet and Cream Cheese. Her cake was super moist, but thicker than like a Betty Crocker mix. It wasn't too, too sweet, either - just right. Key Lime had Key Lime shavings inside the frosting AND inside the cake. And Coconut had Powdered Coconut on top of vanilla icing (but no coconut flavoring added to the icing) and in the moist cake.

What a wonderful little treat these would be at a wedding shower!

Isn't the cupcake phenomenon incredible? We just got our 1st cupcake vendors here in SWFL in the last year or so and we quite addicted here in the planning studio.
