We Have a Date! We Have a Venue! We Have Liftoff!
"Dearest family and friends,
July 17th is notable for a few reasons. In 1945, President Truman met with Josef Stalin and Winston Churchill at Potsdam for the final Allied summit of World War II. In 1955, Disneyland opened in Anaheim, California.
Since 1955, nothing significant has happened on July 17th....until now!
One year from now, on July 17th, 2010, Sarah Magallanes and James Bayot are getting married in Washington, DC!

LOVE IT!!!! Very cute idea, and a good way to reserve your date before everyone plans next summer's vacations.
I'm having my reception at the Monaco too!! Ours is October 2010. I swear I'm already having nightmares about the size of the dance floor there for 130+ people. How many are you having? Is it just me that's worried about everyone having ample room to dance?

Kelsey, at first I was concerned looking at the standard dance floor they set up because it seemed on the smaller side and some real estate is limited by the corinthian columns. But Buddhee said that they could add more squares to the dance floor and make it bigger. We're planning on 170 guests and they do LOVE TO DANCE. But if some guests veer off the dance floor, the room is intimate and enclosed enough to all for that. Congrats on your wedding! Boy that's coming up soon! Good luck and I definitely want to keep up with you leading up to the big day.
