What's Going In Your Out of Town Bags?
I want to compile a list of the types of items you are putting in your Guest Bags. Leave your suggestions in the Comments section and I will compile them in a post real soon.
Are you using a bag or a box?
Are health/hygiene products appropriate?
Do all DC area bags HAVE to have Crab chips?
Thoughts on flip flops, sun glasses, etc.
Sudoku, Crosswords? In or Out?
Maps and other items from the Visitors Bureau?
What else are you throwing in other that a water bottle????
I need to hear from ya!!!

Although I am not on this step yet, we are including $10 metro cards, since the hotel most of our guests are staying at is near the metro we fill this is a great way to help them naviagate the metro system, we are also including metro maps. Since it is a september wedding we are not thinking of flip flops/sun glasses---but we are going to include a list of hot spots, times museums are open, and local places to eat.Right now we are looking at using bags, but that might change!
We used bags and included packets of advil, hand sanitzer, deck of cards, a CD, a bottle of two-buck chuck, and little candies and mints. We didn't add flip-flops, but rather had a basket of them (in wedding colors of course) at the reception for people to change into if their feet hurt.
What is "two buck chuck"???
We are using 2-quart Chinese takeout boxes (the largest size available) that we will be decorating and filling with some of our favorite edible goodies and area location guides/maps.
