Split ends and freak outs

About an hour ago I was forecasting my lesson plans for the next month or so and laying out all of the days in my class planning book when I realized that the wedding is something like THREE WEEKS AWAY!!!

*dies*

I know. The drama, the drama - quit with THE DRAMA. But the thing is, I feel like it's warranted!

Yesterday I spent a lot of time itemizing things of the wedding as I was filling out this form that helped me to inventory all of the things of the wedding and after I got done with it and submitted it, I realized that I've got so much to do!!!
  • Pay the wedding bands up and pick them up
  • Final fitting for the dress
  • Pay the balance for the flowers
  • Figure out what to do about the one flower girl basket
  • Order the plush German Shepherd for the 2nd ring bearer to carry (to represent our dog)
  • Final fitting for husband2be's tux
  • SEND OUT the INVITATIONS ALREADY (goodness gracious am I embarrassed about this one!)
  • Figure out what I'm wearing on my feet
  • Figure out what I'm doing with my hair!
  • BOOK a hairstylist and makeup person
  • Book a TRIAL for the hairstyle and makeup
  • Figure out the table settings/decorations
  • Assemble the guest favors
  • Make a *stupid* program for the ceremony
  • Figure out ceremony music and confirm with church music director
  • Place ceremony details with the pastor
  • Get the marriage license taken care of
  • And all of that other stuff having to do with being pregnant and going to the doctor's and junk

Get the drift???

I also think that I have split ends and need to (somewhere in there) squeeze in a haircut.

If we had kept our original wedding plans and I were four months away from The Big Day, things might not be so bad. But now? I feel like I'm in some really badly written "Chick-lit" book and I'm racing against the clock to pull off "the impossible wedding" or something. This can't be real life. It can't be!

Did I also mention that I'm supposed to be planning a middle school CHEERLEADING competition routine too???

Seriously -

Planning a wedding is one thing, but there is nothing amusing or wonderful about a fat pregnant cheerleading coach trying to choreograph a "bump and grind" routine to a remixed version of Kanye West's "Stronger."

You will be just fine! At least you know what you need to do which is more than I can say for some others. I am eight months away from my big day, and I think I'm on the right track.....Your cheerleading coach comment was too funny!! Imagine. 4 weeks from now, you'll be married, and all this will be but a memory!
