If you are still in the market for a wedding dress and are on a non-negotiable budget, I was just at David's Bridal taking care of the issues with my dress and had the lovely opportunity to see their new Spring collection that's not even online yet!

They have entirely new silhouettes and have moved almost completely from the pick-u0/gathered "princess ballgown" styles in favor of more modern shapes like mermaid and empire/Grecian goddess styles. They're also doing detailing that is a lot more expensive than they've had before and their overall styling is looking less "BridesRUs" than they have in the past. They still are carrying the higher end Oleg Cassina and Galina lines but their store brand is really nice this season. All dresses are $799 or less as well.

And if you're into "designer-knockoffs" (so to speak), one of their latest additions looks EXACTLY like the Reem Acra that the infamous Starr Jones sported at her hard-too-miss nuptials:

I don't know if they have the dress in the stores yet because the manager I was working with said not all of them have made it to stores but they are showing the dress in their new "look book" at least that is available at any DB location now. The price in the book that I picked up is $499. Not too shabby! And it's also shown with a shorter "bubble veil" that doesn't go too far past the shoulders so you end up getting a little more "high fashion" look than Starr went for in the picture above.
