252 Days To Go...

That is what the Knot informed me of how far away my nuptials are...252 days..not that bad right? Considering all I have done, I was feeling pretty calm this morning when I saw that. Than my stationary lady contacted me...our save the date samples are in...we get to choose between 5 different Save the dates ( not going to lie 4 of them looked exactly the same!). Great...easy part done...now I am left with two questions.

1. How many do we order

and

2. Do we address them ourselves or do we have our stationary lady address them?

These might seem like the easiest questions in the world, but let me tell you they have been driving me crazy! For example, we are inviting between 160-180 people, a lot are couples though...so do we just send one save the date to the couple? Obviously, if they live together but what about those couples where we are friends with both of them, do we send each individual a save the date?

Also, the addressing them ourselves its a .50 - .75 cent difference each ( not THAT big of a deal, but it can add up) if we want her to address them, or we can go about doing it on our own. I'm just worried that my "self addressing" will ruin the whole picture! Does anybody have any great ideas of how to do a "wrap around" on your own?

Anyways, this is where I stand--Tomorrow at work I'm going to try and figure out how to post the 5 different options for the save the dates but black out fiances and mine name :)

I'm 18 days away now from our wedding! Woooo!!! It's a crazy crazy thing. And am I close to being ready??? Uhh... not quite. I'm getting there though - even if it's still just babysteps.

Save the money and have your actual invitations addressed. There's something sentimental to me about receiving something hand-written by the bride before the wedding..like she took the time write my address because she really wanted me to be there.

Save the time and energy. Call me lame but I'm printing labels that looks like hand writing on clear labels. I'm also emailing a HTML based email to my friends who are computer literate and mailing STDs to non-friends and more formal people who are into etiquettes.
