Miss Glen Echo, Bridal Hoarder
I am not as bad as Lindsey Lohan or the folks you see on Hoarders, but the closer and closer this wedding gets, I am starting to relate to the feeling of being surrounded by one's own stuff.
Its not so much a problem that I don't like to throw things away, but over the 18 months we have been engaged, all of the on-line deals and "must have" purchases have definitely began to accumulate.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the evidence, uncensored...
Packed away, within the abyss that is our closet, is my little brother's grooms attendant suit. Here is a sneak preview of what the men in our wedding will be wearing. I love the combo of the gray and purple. I wish I could have convinced Mr. Glen Echo to have the guys do purple shirts for a monochromatic look...but alas...he vetoed it :(

I totally relate! We live in a tiny apartment and it's already jam-packed. I think we're going to have the gifts sent to his parents' house and we'll have to hold on to most of them until we buy a house or move into a bigger space. Getting married really does coincide with accumulating a lot of stuff!!
My future hubby doesn't think weddings need anything but a table and some flowers in the middle. I have been picking up special cards for my attendants and stuff to put little gift packages together. I also collect vases and such for decoration. I was sent a big Tiffany box and that will be a card box. I hide it all in my closet. I am sure he thinks I am hoarding junk.
It gets worse ladies...trust me. We also have our gifts going to his parents, but for some reason a few of our registries will revert back to our address...so we are also getting gifts mixed in this mess.
