I SOOOO love Princess Grace's gown and veil! I wish I could find a veil like that that didn't cost a bazillion dollars. That's true about the sleeves, too. I've never been a "strapless" girl. But instead of sleeves, I'm wearing gloves with my sleeveless gown. Vintage kid gloves I got on ebay- they're my "something old".
Love your comment about Princess' always wear sleeves. Yes! Do wear sleeves, otherwise the back fat "woogies" are all the audience can see, even on a stick thin bride.

I went to a wedding last weekend and the young bride wore a sleeveless gown which was almost exactly like the last 100 I've seen in the announcements in the paper. It's hardly flattering to most women, has very little interesting detail, and shows no imagination. Why do women wear them?
I would never get married in a bridal gown without sleeves! Yep -- there still ARE those types of bridal gowns around...even for us commoners!
The most beautiful NON-royal wedding gown I ever saw was CELINE DION's! (Can you believe it, people said she shouldn't try to dress like a real princess on her wedding day????) Her headpiece was AWFUL, though....oh, why couldn't she have worn a tiara? 'Twould have been PERFECT!
Oh wow she is sooooooo beautiful. I LOVE the first photo, especially! I would love a dress and veil like her for when I get married! I actually look quite a lot like her (not NEARLY as beautiful, of course!) and always get her on those sites where you put up a photo and they say who you look like. But yes, loveliest wedding photo I've seen! And I hate strapless (on me).
